The Problem

Most parents want to breastfeed, but sustained success often drops because support breaks down in the first weeks postpartum. Advice is fragmented, clinical guidance gets buried across messages and handouts, and IBCLCs lack dedicated infrastructure to stay connected between appointments.

The Approach

I led the full product cycle with AI as a co-pilot, designing AbbyBSLP for two users at once: the IBCLC practitioner and the parent client. Features were prioritized around the first two postpartum weeks with fast onboarding, structured resource sharing, milestone tracking, and AI-backed Q&A for in-between-visit support.
